Italy,
Piedmont,
Developed colour, quite light ruby-red. The nose starts out spicy with some dried spices, spice box. Slight hint of dustiness, some earthy notes, with layers of red fruit, such as cherry, raspberry, with clove and ginger. Palate has medium weight. It feels more like a traditional style with that slightly dusty spiciness. None the less with elegant fruit. Nicely rounded today with soft tannin. Good degree of freshness, really sweet red fruit. Chocolate praline on the finish, which is quite long.
