Medium deep ruby red colour with a tawny rim. Mature nose, some menthol and sage notes with dried fruit, sweet cherry and spicy ginger, clove and a hint of oak notes. The palate is dense and fresh, still youthful but with ripe tannin, layers of red and dark fruit with tobacco, fine spices and modest oak, ripe and warm with a long and polished finish, supple yet powerful.
