Chile,
Colchagua Valley,
Very deep almost opaque core, but losing some colour intensity towards the rim. Rather ruby, indicating a slight evolution. The nose also has some aged aromas, of dried spices, some wood, lots of cassis, dark plum and a lot of herbs. Almost more like some dried herbs, some tea leaf. Quite full-bodied. However, with a few years to it. It seems to have to soften in terms of texture. There is still a presence of tannins, but it is overshadowed by quite sweet, dried fruit. Those dark berries, with some fresh herbs, some tea leaf. Quite fresh acidity. Medium weight rounded. With a certain complexity and spiciness. A medium towards long finish.
