Casca Wines – Monte Cascas – 2015

Medium deep ruby red colour. Layered nose with some balsamic notes, dried herbs, red and dark fruit, tobacco and some oak. The palate is rather dense, still a youthful but ripe texture, a hint of oak in the background, dried fruit flavours and a bold spiciness with long finish. Still a bit tight needing time to develop.
