Cascina del Monastero – Monastero – 2015

Medium deep ruby colour with a tawny rim. Discreet nose offering tobacco, red berries, kirsch, some floral hints and dry spices. Classic medium weight with a youthful texture, fresh acidity and youthful tannin, elegant fruit notes and a rather long finish. Still needing some time to open though.
