Medium deep amber with a slightly lighter rim indicating some maturity. Complex nose showing nutty notes of hazelnut, roasted almond, some oak, vanilla and pain d’épice with well concealed oak. The palate is full bodied and warm with fine oak, notes of praline, hazelnut, candied orange, pepper and a long vibrant finish. Assertive and flavourful with both a youthful bite and aged complexity, nice.
