Castello del Terriccio – Lupicaia – 2004

Light ruby rim but still a dense core. The nose is sweet, intense with nice dark fruit, pepper, clove, spices, blackberry and cassis. Very good grip on the palate, juicy and round with fine dark fruit. An elegant spiciness, rounded tannin, balanced acidity and a very long, spicy, dark fruity finish, very nice.
