Castello del Trebbio – De’ Pazzi – 2014

Intense dark ruby red colour. Pure and modern nose with fine oak, dark fruit, cherry, cassis, tobacco and mild spices. Good grip on the palate, full-bodied with high but ripe tannin, fresh acidity underlining the dark fruit, savoury with sage and tobacco notes and a long juicy finish with dark cherry notes.
