Castello di Cacchiano – 2004

Medium deep amber colour. Intense and complex nose with mature notes, nuts, nougat, smoke, leather, dried fruit like figs and dates. Lovely palate with an intense viscous texture, sweet but balanced by a good sense of freshness, alcohol and nuttiness, layered with plenty of spice and a very long lingering finish.
