Castello di Gabbiano – Bellezza Gran Selezione – 2012

Medium to deep ruby red with a slightly mature rim. The nose is showing both ripeness and some maturity with tobacco, leather, sweet cherry and plum notes. The palate is still young and muscular with a fine tannic backbone starting to soften, some oak appears with darker fruit, good density and length combining ripeness and freshness, still young but should drink well in the near future.
