Italy,
Tuscany,
Quite low colour intensity here. Light ruby with a slightly tawny rim. Pure nose. Indicating sweet fruit, red cherry, some floral hints, mild spices and no evidence of oak. Classically built palate here, with high acidity. Quite pronounced tannin, slightly dry tannin. With elegant red fruit, such as cherry, Roséhip. Nothing flesh or bold. Rather a discreet style. Medium weight, but with a rather long finish. I think this one is gaining more complexity and roundness on the finish. Still appearing a bit youthful and I suppose this is a wine that should develop nicely over the coming two to four years. Overall, a good balance in what I would call a rather classical style.
