Castello di Volpaia – Coltassala – 2009

Quite deep ruby red colour; quite intense nose with plenty of fruit, cherry, plum, crushed berries, fine oak and some spices. The palate has attractive density, juicy and fresh dark fruit, well integrated tannin, balanced acidity and a long, warm finish. Attractive and pleasantly drinkable.
