Castello di Volpaia – Il Puro – 2008

Medium ruby colour; young nose of new oak, almond, spices, red berries and cherry. The palate is quite full and juicy with soft extraction, balanced acidity, elegant red fruit, attractive, chewy tannin and rather long finish. Attractively done.
