Italy,
Tuscany,
Medium deep colour here. Classic ruby-red with a slightly lighter rim. Still appearing fairly youthful. Pure nose. Really with an emphasis of fruit. Not showing a lot of oak. Mainly red cherry aromas. A slight hint of dried tomato. Some aromatic herbs, like dried herbs and sweet red berries. Palate is fine, already polished with a perfect drinkability. I would say this is a wine that keeps within the medium body frame. With a good balance between tannin and acidity. It is a fresh style, no influence of oak. Rather just attractive and juicy cherry fruit. Finely grained tannin. Gentle spiciness on the finish, hints of ginger and pepper. After taste is on the longer side, so it keeps lingering for a while. In terms of texture, it really appears subtle now, with juicy, attractive fruit. Good drinkability and very classic food-friendly style.
