Castello Vicchiomaggio – Ripa delle More – 2009

Rather deep core, still youthful purple. The nose displays some floral notes, dark plum and cherry; the palate is young and dense on the fuller side with young dark fruit, plenty of tannin in the background, good freshness and balance, rather long persistence - should gain more complexity from further ageing; still unresolved at the moment.
