Castillo Perelada – Finca Garbet – 2009

Dense dark purple colour with a slightly aged rim. Intense nose with high ripeness, inky dark fruit, cassis, plum and blackberry with some new oak, tobacco and spice box. Very dense and concentrated, rather massive structure but with freshness, ripe tannin and lush dark fruit, drinks quite well albeit in a rich and explosive style with a very long and dense finish. A well balanced blockbuster with plenty of everything.
