Very dark and inky colour. Sweet and ripe nose, almost portlike with hints of dark plum, cassis and roasted oak. The palate is rich and intense, well built with muscular tannin, layers of dark fruit, chocolate, finely integrated oak and a long massive finish, still a bit young with oak on the finish, should get some time to soften.
