Inky dark core and a purple hue. Lightly smoky with some new oak, ripe dark fruit - blackberry, cassis, pepper and some truffle notes. The palate is warm and unctuous with good denisty and volume, peppery dark fruit flavours with ripe extract and a long lingering finish.
