Inky purple core with a garnet rim. The nose shows a hint of maturity and good depth with fine oak, toast, smoked meat, ripe blackberry, cassis and spice box notes. The palate is ample and intense, still youthful but with ripe tannin, layers of peppery dark fruit, meaty notes, fine oak integration and a long lingering finish.
