France,
				 Languedoc Roussillon,
Intense red wine with a deep core, ruby-red, with some evolution on the rim. Very intense nose, very attractive nose, combining ripe fruits, some notes of violet; sweet dark berries, cassis and blackberry, with some spicy hints of clove, sweet pepper. Very nice palate, dense core of fruit, perfectly integrated tannin, but still a lot of tannin that gives a lift, almost like chocolate powder. Sweet ripe dark fruit. I would also add on the taste a meaty element, like a hint of bacon or smoked meat. It’s certainly a wine that has seen some new oak, but you don’t really feel it on the palate, it’s well integrated. Very fleshy modern dark fruit, dense core of dark fruit, long warm finish. I would also add now a hint of complexity, aromatic spiciness; the palate is well-layered, really well made, with a very good drinkability right now. Excellent result, with a clear notion of spicy Syrah, ripe but not overripe, in a very nice fresh drinkable style.
