France,
Rhone Valley,
Dark inky purple/opaque core and hue. Intense and layered nose offering stony notes, violet, inky black fruit, cassis, liquorice, incense and raw meat. Lovely density and freshness combined, layers of ripe dark fruit with peppery, floral and meaty notes, plenty of cocoa powder like tannins with a very substantial and persistent finish. Superb ageing potential, keep for minimum 3 more years.
