Inky dark core and a garnet hue. Intense aromas of some new oak, smoked meat, ripe dark berries, cassis, pepper and clove. Good bite and grip, an ample structure with layers of smoky dark fruit with meaty notes, ripe but present tannin adding lift, a long and unctuous finish with plenty of spice and meatiness.
