Inky dark purple core and hue. Smoky, meaty and peppery with layers of cassis, blackberry, prune and crushed stone. The palate has a massive structure, very dense and muscular yet with finely rounded tannin and extract, fresh acidity underneath, still in its infancy but highly potent for another 30 years of ageing.
