Medium to dark ruby colour with a purple hue. Youthful and pure nose offering wild berries, cassis, plum, tobacco, discreet oak and fine spices. Good grip on the palate, still youthful but no hard edges, high concentration of tannin but ripe with a fresh backbone, juicy dark fruit and a long finish. Certainly a style that will improve from long ageing.
