Cave Irouleguy – Omenaldi Hommage – 2010

Deep ruby core with a lighter rim. Intense nose with some development, hints of red and black currants, aromatic herbs and a hint of oak and vanilla. The palate still appears young and restrained with a firm tannic core, though with good fruit, spicy oak hints of vanilla, clove and ginger with juicy red fruit and rather long finish, still a bit firm and restrained at present.
