Inky dark purple core and hue. Rather floral nose with black cherry, cassis, liquorice and violet notes. Dense and structured but already with fairly softened tannin considering its youth. A nice freshness giving a lift to the ample dark fruit, savoury and digest with fine length. I don´t like the term "food-friendly" wines but in this case a confit de canard would work wonders!
