Dense ruby red with a lighter rim. Darker fruit on the nose, black cherry, some oak, vanilla and tobacco leaf. The palate is dense, weighty and modern with ripe tannin, layers of plum, cherry and dark fruit, good freshness and integrated oak, long and lingering finish, well made slightly more modern style, should still develop for a few years.
