Dense dark ruby colour with a purple hue. Fine nose, spicy and earthy with some truffle, pepper, clove and wild berries with modest oak. The palate has very good weight and density, finely spicy and peppery dark fruit with a fresh backbone, plenty of grainy tannin and a long layered finish. Really nice today but potent for further development.
