Intense dark purple core and hue. Ripe and fresh nose offering fresh red currants, cassis, aromatic herbs like sage and bay leaf with a hint of oak and tobacco. The palate is dense and concentrated with savoury fruit, an herbal and peppery spiciness, fine oak, rather high but ripe tannin followed by a persistent finish. Youthful but promising.
