Dense dark core with a purple hue. Youthful nose offering some new oak, ripe dark berries, plum, dark chocolate and fine leather. Dense palate, ripe and warm with youthful fruit, ripe and rounded tannin, peppery dark fruit flavours and a long warming finish. Good material but still youthful and restrained needing time to open.
