Bright dark purple colour. Fragrant and aromatic with notes of cassis, dark cherry, plum, fine tobacco, sage and fine oak. The palate is dense - combining concentration and freshness, with vibrant dark fruit flavours, mild spice and liquorice with a backbone of youthful but ripe tannin with discreet oak presenceand a long lingering finish.
