Red wine with a medium intense colour, ruby-red with a slightly tawny rim. The nose is showing some complexity, there is a hint of leather, cedar wood, tobacco, with sweet red fruit; such as red currant and plum. The palate is quite full-bodied, still with a present extract. Slightly tannic sensation on the mid-palate, however balanced by a fresh acidity. Quite long finish with some dried spices, some dried herbs, showing up on the finish. A touch of mint. So pretty attractive fruit. Still a rather youthful wine. I would prefer to put back in the cellar just for the tannins to soften a little bit.
