It shows a youthful oakiness yet with fine balance with benchmark cassis, plum, tobacco and spice notes. Ample palate, one senses the ripeness but a fair deal of acidity gives a good lift, grainy tannin and elegant dark fruit flavours linger on the finish. Still a youthful example but finely tuned with good structure and persistency.
