Turkey,
Thrace,
Very youthful appearance, with an almost opaque core. Ruby-red towards the rim. Intense nose. Quite modern here, with some roasted oak. Not too much of it. It is just a nice roasted touch. A hint of smoke. Really dark fruitiness here, with a lot of cassis, with dark plum, some roasted coffee. High concentration on the palate. Really dense and tight. When I say tight I think it is rather a question about its youth. The tannins are fairly ripe and integrated. It just needs some more time to round off the edges. None of the less it has really delicious dark fruit with hints of cassis, ripe herbs, dried herbs; mint, sage, Rosémary with juicy sweet plum. Good length as well. I certainly think this is a wine that has the potential of at least 10 years of ageing. It should open up in the coming ten years. Really ambitious and modern style.
