Dark inky almost opaque colour. Pure, modern and polished nose offering new oak, butterscotch and layers of ripe dark fruit. Nice grip on the palate, still youthful but ripe tannin and modest extraction, fresh dark plum, cassis and spice flavours with some meaty notes and a well-maintained freshness leading to a long and powerful finish.
