Inky dark purple colour. Plenty of new oak, vanilla and toast on the nose with cassis and dark berries. Rather full palate with high extraction, slightly firm with high acidity, discreet dark fruit and quite a long finish. A traditional style requiring long ageing. Keep another 3-4 years before opening.
