Château Balestard La Tonnelle – 2009

Sweet nose with some earthy notes, dark plum and blackcurrant; quite dense structure with youthful tannins and high freshness, chewy dark fruit, attractive balance and a rather long finish, still slightly young and tight on the end of the palate, but with alluring fruit and purity.
