Dark youthful purple hue. Pure nose, ripe dark berries, cassis, mild spices with some mocha and oak. Rather full palate, still on the firm side with high tannin/acidity, discreet dark fruit flavours, some oak presence and a fairly long finish. A wine still needing some time to soften.
