Château Bouscassé – Vieilles Vignes – 2009

Madiran
MEDAILLE-TASTED-94-2024
France,
Sud Ouest,
Inky black core starting to mature on the rim. Finely layered nose with cassis, blackberry, plum, fine leather, chocolate, smoke and truffle notes. The palate is dense with a high concentration, nicely proportioned with plenty of grainy tannin a fresh acidity, finely spicy dark fruit, modest oak and a very long lingering finish. A massive wine with good drinkability today even if it will keep another 30 years.
