Château Caillou – 2004

Quite deep golden colour. Developed nose some earthy notes, chestnut, almond and decaying leaves with candied stone fruit. The palate shows medium weight with a fresh backbone, citrus confit, less opulence than the nose suggests but well balanced with good purity of fruit and nice drinkability.
