Château Caillou – 2011

Medium deep golden colour. Fine complexity and layers on the nose, good oak, vanilla, saffron and ripe stone fruit. Very good grip on the palate combining dense sweetness, bright acidity with finely toasted oak, a layered spiciness, juicy apricot, saffron and a very long, lingering finish, really good.
