Medium deep ruby red colour. Spicy and meaty nose with ground black pepper, clove, fine oak, violet and sweet red fruit. The palate is dense and youthful, high tannin, still on the youthful side with sweet red fruit and plenty of peppery and meaty spiciness, good length, certainly a fine ageing potential.
