Dark ruby purple core. Sweet and ripe nose of dark berries, plum, some new oak and tobacco leaf. The palate has medium weight, blending red and dark fruit with a slight herbal spiciness, modest, oak, a fine spiciness and a rather long finish. Young but ripe tannin. Should drink well rather soon.
