Inky dark core with a purple hue. Youthful and ripe nose offering crushed black currant, plum and cherry with some wood, leather and some new oak. The palate is still youthful, ripe red and dark fruit, young tannic texture and some leafy/herbal spiciness. Rather long on the finish but still youthful and restrained deserving longer ageing.
