France,
Bordeaux,
Medium intense colour, ruby-red. Youthful in terms of aroma. Needs some air to open up. It is displaying hints of mainly red fruit, like red currant, cranberry, plum, with some gentle herbal notes. Palate has medium weight. Quite high extract. Still appearing youthful on the palate, with moderate to high level of tannin. Elevated acidity. The fruitiness is on the palate as well. More on that red fruity, red currants, plum side. It has a medium towards long finish, so not bad in terms of length. It still feels very young and quite high tannin. It should certainly deserve another minimum two years in the cellar to open up.
