Dense purple core with a slightly mature rim. Rather intense nose with some maturity, sweet fruit, jammed plum, a hint of oak and peppery notes. The palate is rather full, still a youthful firm tannic grip, rather sweet fruit flavours, a hint of oak and herbal spices. Fairly long finish, although still a bit restrained needing time to open.
