Inky dark purple core and hue. Ripe dark fruit on the nose, cassis, plum, leather and some balsamic notes. The palate is rather dense, a youthful tannic grip, some herbal flavours, crushed black currant and dark cherry flavours with a long finish. Robust and well-built in a tannic age worthy style needing time to soften.
