Dark ruby colour with an aged rim. The nose has some maturity, generous with notes of mocha, leather and dark fruit. The palate is younger than the nose with a dense core, present but ripe tannin, dark plum, cassis and tobacco notes, some black truffle emerging as well, and a long finish. Classically built for long ageing, could be drunk now after aeration.
