Dense dark purple colour. Sweet and ripe almost Port-like nose with dark berries, cassis, cherry and some oak notes paired with a fine spiciness. Very dense palate with high extract, plenty of tannins, a fresh acidity underneath, a bit on the tight side today but with nice dark fruit notes and good length. Promising but unresolved, needing time to soften. Drink after 2021.
