France,
Bordeaux,
Youthful bright with a quite intense core, blue-purple. Intense nose, pure with an emphasis on fruit. Rather dark fruit with notes of plum, dark cherry quite discreet oak. Some earthy mineral notes as well. Palate is quite powerful here. I like this combination of body with freshness. Really fresh. I think in terms of extract, it is already quite rounded and integrated. The tannins are present but well rounded. Then in terms of fruitiness we have those, dark blackberry notes, plum. A fine spiciness, quite discreet wood. Fine length as well, it really keeps going on for a while. So a really well-made wine. Quite attractive today already. I think this is a more modern style, of course, which is drinkable already. Yet, with this structure and length, it is certainly a wine that will go on for eight to ten years.
